18:0-16:0 PC is a fatty acid found in human breast milk. This lipid has been shown to be beneficial for infants and for the prevention of cancer. It is an acyl chain with a myristic acid at one end, which can be either saturated or unsaturated. 18:0-16:0 PC is found in the lipidome, where it contributes to the uptake of other lipids.
