Description

Tebuthiuron-N-hydroxymethyl is an antibiotic that belongs to the group of synthetic antibiotics. It inhibits bacterial and fungal growth by binding to their DNA, preventing transcription and replication. Tebuthiuron-N-hydroxymethyl has been shown to have antiviral and antifungal effects against HIV, herpes simplex virus type 1, and Candida albicans. This drug has been approved for use in humans as a second line treatment for Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL).
