Description :
Silmitasertib sodium salt is a potent inhibitor of the KIT receptor, which is found in cancer stem cells. This drug inhibits the growth of cancer cells by blocking the production of epidermal growth factor (EGF) and epidermal growth factor-like molecules. Silmitasertib sodium salt has been shown to be effective against colon, lung, and breast cancers in animal models. It was also found to be safe for use in humans when given orally at doses of up to 250mg/day for 28 days.
