Description :
tert-Butyl 4-[(4-bromobenzene)sulfonyl]piperazine-1-carboxylate is a potent and selective inhibitor of the CysLT2 receptor. It has been shown to be an effective treatment for asthma in animal models, with its efficacy increased by coadministration of an agonist for the CysLT1 receptor. The compound also inhibits the release of proinflammatory cytokines from mast cells and inhibits airway hyperresponsiveness in mice.
