Informations sur le produit
6-Fluoro-2-methyl-3,4-dihydroquinolin-1(2H)-yl)(2-(pyrazin-2-yl)thiazol-4-yl)methanone is a potent and selective blocker of the α7 nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (nAChR). It is a ligand at the α7 nAChR. 6FMQ blocks calcium channels, which are involved in synaptic transmission. This compound also reduces synaptic activity in mice lacking the α7 nAChR and has been shown to inhibit LPS induced nitric oxide production. 6FMQ is an inhibitor of the protein interactions that regulate ion channel function.
