Holmium(III) chloride is a chemical compound with the chemical formula HoCl. It has been used to study the hydrogen bonding interactions between the molecule and human serum, which are important for the stability of this compound. The magnetic resonance spectroscopy data showed that this material has a particle size of about 2 nm. The thermodynamic data showed that Holmium(III) chloride is highly stable in sodium hydroxide solution, but decomposes rapidly in water and hydrogen chloride.
