Description

Pazopanib is a drug that belongs to the group of cell cycle inhibitors. It inhibits the progression of cells through the G2 phase of the cell cycle by inhibiting protein synthesis and DNA synthesis. Pazopanib also has anti-tumor effects and is effective against various types of cancer, including those that are amplified or unmethylated. Pazopanib is used in combination with other chemotherapeutic drugs to treat renal cell carcinomas that have been resistant to other treatments. Pazopanib hydrochloride is used as an intermediate for chemical synthesis.
