Ethyl 1-isopropyl-1H-imidazole-4-carboxylate is a molecule inhibitor of the protein complex NVP-CGM097, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the function of this protein complex. The mechanistic basis for these effects are unknown, but it has been hypothesized that inhibition of this protein complex may lead to cell death by interfering with either DNA or RNA synthesis.
