5-Bromo-3-methyl-4-nitro-1,2-thiazole is an isothiazole that has been shown to interact with a number of compounds including the sulphoxides. 5-Bromo-3-methyl-4-nitro-1,2-thiazole has been shown to have affinity for both tautomers and anharmonic molecules. The molecular orbitals of 5-bromo 3 methyl 4 nitro 1,2 thiazole have been studied by Raman spectroscopy and found to be in the vibrational state.
