Description :
3-(Aminomethyl)cyclobutanecarboxylic acid is a non-natural amino acid that has been proposed as an analog of angiotensin. It is a cyclic molecule with substitutions at the 3rd and 4th positions, which have been shown to improve the pharmacokinetic properties and efficacy over the parent compound. 3-(Aminomethyl)cyclobutanecarboxylic acid has been shown to be effective in treating hypertension and congestive heart failure, but not hyperkalemia.
