Description :
4-(Butylamino)-2-(3-fluorophenyl)-1H-pyrazolo[4,3-c]quinolin-3-one is a ligand with high affinity for potassium channels. It binds to the open state of the channel and blocks potassium flux out of the cell, leading to an increase in intracellular potassium concentrations. This compound has been shown to have potential as a research tool for studying ion channel function in cells. 4-(Butylamino)-2-(3-fluorophenyl)-1H-pyrazolo[4,3-c]quinolin-3-one is also a potent inhibitor of protein kinase C (PKC).
