N-(1-((2-(dimethylamino)ethyl)amino)-2-methyl-1-oxopropan-2-yl)-4-(4-(2-methyl-5-(3,4,5-trihydroxytetrahydrofuran -2-yl)benzyl)phenyl)butanamide is a peptide activator of the human ion channel TRPM8. This peptide has been shown to inhibit the binding of a ligand (AITC) to the human receptor hM3Dq and to activate TRPM8 channels in rat dorsal root ganglion neurons. It has also been shown that this peptide can modulate the activity of voltage gated sodium channels.
