Description

2-propyn-1-amine is a chemical compound that is used in the laboratory as a reagent. It is also used in clinical research to study the transport pathways of 2-propyn-1-amine in colorectal carcinoma cells, as well as to study autophagosome formation and localization. This chemical analog has shown antibacterial activity against human pathogens such as Escherichia coli and Salmonella enterica. In addition, it has been shown to inhibit replication of the RNA component of dengue virus type 4 (DEN4) and map to the DEN4 region required for replication.
