Informations sur le produit
3-(2-Carboxyethyl)benzoic acid is a fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) probe that can be used to study the interactions between co-stimulatory molecules, such as CD80 and CD86, and their ligands. When the FRET probe is bound to the extracellular domain of CD80 or CD86, it can be used to measure the spatial distribution of these co-stimulatory molecules on cells. The FRET probe is synthesized by cinnamic acid derivatives that are synthesized in vitro. 3-(2-Carboxyethyl)benzoic acid has been shown to have modulating effects on protein synthesis in vitro and translation in vivo. It also binds to RNA helicase proteins in cellular RNA and can be used as a signal detector for constitutive activation.
