Description :Trimethylpyrazine-2-carboxylic acid is a cancer drug that inhibits the growth of tumor cells by damaging DNA. It also has an inhibitory effect on cell cycle progression, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the synthesis of proteins essential for DNA replication. Trimethylpyrazine-2-carboxylic acid has been shown to have an inhibitory effect on the growth of tumor cells in culture and is also able to induce apoptosis (cell death) in these cells. This agent can be used as a chemotherapeutic agent or as an anticancer prodrug.
