Description

Tert-Butyl 2-(3-cyanobenzyl)hydrazinecarboxylate (TCBZH) is a biodegradable, piperazine-based compound that has been shown to have vibrational and conformational properties. TCBZH is a pharmacological agent with several functions, including the inhibition of the transcription factor NF-κB in various cellular models. TCBZH also inhibits the release of proinflammatory cytokines, such as IL-1β and IL-6, by inhibiting the activation of protein kinase C. TCBZH has been shown to inhibit NF-κB in different biochemical scenarios, including diabetes mellitus and sepsis. The average intramolecular hydrogen bond distance for TCBZH was determined to be 1.8 Å and the average intramolecular hydrogen bond strength was determined to be 0.8 kcal/mol.
