- 6-Chloro-5-hydroxy-3-pyridinecarboxylic acid
6-Chloro-5-hydroxypyridine-3-carboxylic acid is a chloride that has a constant of 0.1 M at 25°C. It is a neonicotinoid that is structurally related to the insecticide 6-Chloro-2,3,4-trimethylpyridine. This compound has been used in magnetic and fluorescent ionisation mass spectrometry studies. Magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS) has also been used to study the proton of this substance. Additionally, 6CHP may be chromatographed and photolyzed with irradiation. The kinetics of this substance are determined by luminescence measurements.
