Description

1-Amino-1-deoxy-D-fructose hydrochloride is a chemical compound that has been used to study the effects of DNA damage on the rate of protein synthesis. 1-Amino-1-deoxy-D-fructose hydrochloride has been shown to be a strong inhibitor of DNA replication, particularly at sites where there is a high frequency of damaged bases.
