• Description: 2-Amino-1-methyl-6-phenylimidazo[4,5-b]pyridine N-b-D-glucuronide is a synthetic glycosylate that contains an aminomethyl group at the C2 position. It is used as a precursor to generate saccharides bearing the 1,5-anhydro sugar moiety. 2-Amino-1-methyl-6-phenylimidazo[4,5-b]pyridine N-b-D-glucuronide has been shown to react with glucose and other sugars in vivo to form oligosaccharides and polysaccharides respectively.
