Informations sur le produit
- Angiotensin III
- Angiotensin II, 1-de-L-aspartic acid-
Angiotensin III is a peptide hormone that is produced in the lungs and acts primarily on the kidneys, heart, and blood vessels. It is a potent vasoconstrictor that stimulates the release of aldosterone from the adrenal glands. Angiotensin III also has natriuretic properties, which result in increased urine production and sodium excretion. It is used therapeutically to treat congestive heart failure and hypertension. Angiotensin III trifluoroacetate salt hydrate (AT3-TFA) causes an increase in collagen gel contraction, as well as platelet aggregation. AT3-TFA also has been shown to have anticonvulsant effects when given intraperitoneally to pentobarbital-treated rats. AT3-TFA has been studied for its ability to inhibit prostate cancer cells; however, it does not seem to have any significant effect on tumor growth or metastasis.
