(3S,4'R,5S,5'S,6'S,8'S)-5-(Furan-3-yl)-5'-hydroxy-6'-methyl-3'-oxaspiro[oxolane-3,7'-tricyclo[6.3.1.0⁴,¹²]dodecan]-1'(12')-ene-2,2'-dione is a molecule that has been shown to be able to inhibit the synthesis of reactive oxygen species. It also inhibits the synthesis of protein targets and autoantibodies that are associated with inflammatory conditions such as hepatitis or rheumatoid arthritis.
