4-Methoxyphenylphosphonic Dichloride is a reactive organic compound that can be used to make polyethers. 4-Methoxyphenylphosphonic Dichloride is an organophosphorus compound that has the formula CHOPCl2. This colorless liquid is soluble in water, ethanol, and ether. The product reacts with polyethers to give polyether phosphonates, which are useful as industrial solvents and in the manufacture of polyurethanes. 4-Methoxyphenylphosphonic Dichloride is typically stored at temperatures below -20 degrees Celsius and above 20 degrees Celsius. It can also be stored in an inert atmosphere or under nitrogen gas to prevent it from reacting with atmospheric oxygen or moisture.
