Informations sur le produit
- Quinoxaline, 5-chloro-
5-Chloroquinoxaline is a chloroquinoxaline that has been analysed for its luminescence properties. The ring-opening reaction of 5-chloroquinoxaline with chloride in methanol solution is nucleophilic, and the addition of 5-chloroquinoxaline to quinoxalines is additive. The photophysical properties of naphthalene doped with 5-chloroquinoxaline show substituent effects on the electronic spectra and shift. It has been shown that this compound can be used as an indicator for the presence of chloride ions.
