Description

1-Stearoyl-2-arachidonoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine (SAPC) is an inhibitor of cyclin-dependent kinases (CDKs), which are proteins that regulate the cell cycle. It has been shown to induce apoptosis in human tumor cells and inhibit the growth of various cancer cell lines, including those derived from Chinese hamster ovary cells. SAPC is an analog of phosphatidylcholine, a major component of cell membranes, and is found in urine.
