Informations sur le produit
2,3-O-Isopropylidene-D-erythro-1,4-lactone is a synthetic molecule that contains a branched chain and molybdic group. It is synthesized by the transformation of 2,3-dihydroxybenzoic acid with an aldotetrose. The crystal x-ray diffraction analysis of this compound has shown that it can be used as a mimic for the reductive dehalogenase enzyme from Streptomyces griseus. The substituents in this molecule are responsible for the structural changes observed during the crystallization process.
