Boc-Ile-Glu-Gly-Arg-AMC is a cell permeable inhibitor of protein interactions that binds to the peptide sequences of the extracellular domain of the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR). Boc-Ile-Glu-Gly-Arg-AMC can be used as a research tool to study protein interactions, as well as an inhibitor for EGFR. It is soluble in DMSO and water. This product has been shown to inhibit the activity of ion channels such as voltage dependent calcium channels, potassium channels, and sodium channels. Boc-Ile-Glu-Gly-Arg-AMC also inhibits antibody binding to its antigen.
