3-(4,4,5,5-Tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)-1H-indazole is a compound that has been shown to be an inhibitor of the enzyme methyltransferase. This class of compounds has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells in cell cultures and animal models. 3-(4,4,5,5-Tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)-1H-indazole also inhibits the growth of methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and Mycobacterium tuberculosis.
