Description

Venlafaxine-D6 hydrochloride solution is a compound that is used as an antidepressant drug. It has been shown to have a pharmacokinetic profile that is different from venlafaxine, which is the active form of this drug. Venlafaxine-D6 hydrochloride solution can be detected by flow rate and mass spectrometry, with a detection time of about 5 minutes. It is metabolized to its active form in the liver by CYP2D6 and CYP3A4. The metabolism of venlafaxine-D6 hydrochloride solution is inhibited by mirtazapine-d3, which is another antidepressant drug. The reaction monitoring technique was used for the detection of this drug in human plasma samples using electrospray ionization (ESI) and transition metal ion cluster beam technology (TICB).
