Description :
TH 1217 is a peptide that was originally isolated from human serum by affinity chromatography. It has been found to activate the receptor of the ion channel TRPV1, which is involved in pain and inflammation. TH 1217 also binds to other receptors, such as the receptor for bradykinin and ATP-sensitive potassium channels. It has been shown that TH 1217 can inhibit protein interactions with the help of different ligands and can be used as a research tool for studying protein interactions.
