Description :Antisense oligonucleotides are short, single-stranded nucleic acids that can be complementary to a region of messenger RNA and inhibit the translation of that mRNA into protein. Antisense oligonucleotides bind to the mRNA in a sequence-specific manner and prevent its translation into protein.
