Informations sur le produit
- N-(3-chloro-4-methylphenyl)urea
- urea, N-(3-chloro-4-methylphenyl)-
1-(3-Chloro-4-methylphenyl)urea is an ionic liquid that is used as a surfactant in the elution of organic compounds from thin layer chromatography plates. It is also used to remove pollutants such as dioctyl, sulfate, and dodecyl from water. 1-(3-Chloro-4-methylphenyl)urea has a chloride ion that can be detected by a diode array detector with a sensitivity of 0.2 μM. The elution order of this compound on HPLC is determined by its partition coefficient (log P) and its retention time. 1-(3-Chloro-4-methylphenyl)urea can be easily identified through its UV absorption spectrum at 232 nm and its infrared absorption spectrum at 3200 cm−1.
