Informations sur le produit
- 3-ethylquinoxalin-2(1H)-one
3-Ethyl-1,2-dihydroquinoxalin-2-one is an organic compound that is synthesized from 3-ethoxycarbonylthiourea and ethyl iodide. It is a fluorescent compound with two functional groups: an acidic group and an ethyl group. The synthesis of 3-ethyl-1,2-dihydroquinoxalin-2-one involves the use of racemase to convert an optically active thiourea into its corresponding chiral acid chloride derivative. The carboxaldehyde group then reacts with this acid chloride to form the desired product. This reaction can be catalyzed by dehydrogenase in the presence of oxygen.
