Description

2,4-Dichloro-6-(methylthio)-1,3,5-triazine is a high refractive index organic solvent. It has been shown to have a transition temperature of -11°C and is pH-sensitive. The refractive index of 2,4-Dichloro-6-(methylthio)-1,3,5-triazine is 1.531 at 20°C and 1.535 at 0°C. This compound has been used in the manufacture of polyester fibers and plastics.
