Description

Huperzine is a natural product that has been shown to have anti-inflammatory effects in the treatment of Alzheimer's disease. Huperzine inhibits acetylcholinesterase, an enzyme that breaks down the neurotransmitter acetylcholine. Furthermore, huperzine has been shown to be effective against organisms such as phlegmariurus, which is a fungus that causes pneumonia. Huperzine also inhibits cholinesterase activity and shows no toxicity in rats and mice. It is not known if Huperzine exhibits any significant side effects or interactions with other drugs.
