Informations sur le produit
- 1,2-Diamino-4,5-methylenedioxy-benzene
1,3-Benzodioxole-5,6-diamine is a sialic acid analog that has been extensively studied for its potential use as a tumor marker. It is synthesized by reacting 1,3-benzodioxole with the amino groups of L-serine in the presence of trifluoroacetic acid. The resulting product can be used to label glycoconjugates and monoclonal antibodies using a fluorescence detector. The bound form of this compound can be detected in human serum using an analytical method involving an acidic environment. The conformational properties of these compounds have been extensively analyzed and their structural analysis has shown that they are capable of forming hydrogen bonds. This makes them suitable as possible candidates for drugs targeting infants who cannot synthesize sialic acids on their own due to their underdeveloped glycosylation pathways.
