2-Methoxy-2-(1-naphthyl)propionic Acid is a chiral compound with two stereocenters. It is a white crystalline solid that is soluble in methanol and ethyl acetate. 2-Methoxy-2-(1-naphthyl)propionic Acid has been shown to be an acid catalyst, forming the corresponding amide, hydrogen bond and methoxy groups in the process.
