Informations sur le produit
2-Cyclopropylmethyl carbamimidothioate hydrobromide is a crystalline solid that can be synthesized efficiently. It is used as a reagent in organic synthesis, mainly to convert aryl halides to their corresponding sulfates. The reaction mechanism of 2-cyclopropylmethyl carbamimidothioate hydrobromide is similar to that of dihydrochloride and involves the formation of an intermediate thiocarbonyl species which reacts with a halogen atom to form the desired product. This compound has an odourless, non-malodorous smell and yields are high. Upon heating, this compound decomposes into carbon dioxide and methanethiol. 2-Cyclopropylmethyl carbamimidothioate hydrobromide is soluble in water and in organic solvents such as dichloromethane or ethanol.
