• Description: 3'-Deoxy-3'-C-methylcytidine is a monophosphate nucleotide that is used as an activator for DNA synthesis. It is a novel, synthetic nucleoside with high purity and high quality. 3'-Deoxy-3'-C-methylcytidine has been shown to inhibit viral replication, including human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1), herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1) and Epstein Barr virus (EBV) in cell culture. It also inhibits the growth of cancer cells in vitro by inhibiting the synthesis of DNA, RNA, and protein.
