Description :
6-Iodo-pyridin-2-ylamine is a palladium complex that can be used in cross-coupling reactions. It has been shown to be effective in the synthesis of organic compounds containing a trisubstituted pyridine ring. 6-Iodo-pyridin-2-ylamine reacts with aryl halides and alkenes to form various substituted pyridines, including 3,5-dichloropyridine and 3,4,5,6 tetrafluoropyridine. This compound has also been used to synthesize buchwald benzoates, miyaura couplings, and suzuki coupling reactions for the synthesis of certain heterocycles.
