Informations sur le produit
2-(1-Phenyl-1H-tetrazol-5-ylsulfanyl)-ethylaminehydrochloride is a pyrimido compound that has been shown to have antipsychotic properties. It has been shown to be effective in the treatment of schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, as well as related conditions such as depression and anxiety. This drug binds to dopamine D2 receptors in the brain, thereby blocking the actions of dopamine and reducing psychotic symptoms. 2-(1-Phenyl-1H-tetrazol-5-ylsulfanyl)-ethylaminehydrochloride also inhibits other neurotransmitter receptors such as serotonin 5HT2A and muscarinic M1 receptors. The compound is structurally similar to an amine, but with a sulfur atom instead of an oxygen atom. This may account for its basicity and its ability to bind strongly with amines.
