Malonyl-CoA is an allosteric activator of ACC, which is an important enzyme for regulating fatty acid synthesis. 7H-Pyrrolo[2,3d]pyrimidine also inhibits the expression of the gene encoding cb2 receptor, which is involved in inflammatory processes.
