Description

Methyl Hesperidine is a flavonoid found in plants, such as Citrus aurantium. It is used for the treatment of high blood pressure and other cardiovascular disorders. Methyl Hesperidine has been shown to inhibit the transport rate of potassium dichromate across human serum membranes. It also inhibits the absorption of chlorogenic acid by intestinal cells and can be used as a food additive in products such as detergents. In addition, Methyl Hesperidine has been shown to have an antioxidant effect that may be due to its ability to scavenge free radicals or chelate metal ions.
