Description

Momordicoside B is a fructus that has been shown to have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. It has been demonstrated to inhibit the uptake of fatty acids and to reduce the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines. Momordicoside B has also been shown to have antidiabetic effects in clinical studies. The chemical structure of momordicoside B is similar to that of other triterpenoid saponins, which are known as medicines or drugs. Momordicoside B exhibits amp-activated protein kinase (AMPK) activation, which may be responsible for its various pharmacological activities.
