Mogrosides are a group of natural plant sugars that have been studied for their potential to prevent and treat diabetes. Mogroside V is a mogroside found in the fruit extract of Ganocereus stearnii. It has been shown to inhibit the activation of protein kinase-B (AMPK) and inhibit the uptake of glucose by cells.
