Description

Sodium 3-hydroxy-2-naphthoate is a solubilized, functional group that is used as an additive in nasal sprays. It has shown to have a linear response with hydroxyl groups and viscosity when mixed with micelles and cationic surfactants. The fluorescence probe of this compound has been shown to be sensitive to anions, allowing it to be used for the detection of sodium salts.
