Description

Metasequirin D is a dietary supplement that contains persicogenin, a natural saponin compound. Persicogenin has been shown to have anti-cancer and anti-inflammatory properties in animal studies. Metasequirin D has also shown health benefits in animal studies, such as the reduction of skin injury caused by radiation or chemical study and the prevention of gene expression changes caused by radiation or chemical study. The molecular mechanism of action is not yet clear, but it is hypothesized that persicogenin may protect cells from oxidative stress.

Metasequirin D contains deionized water, which is water that has been purified through a process called ion exchange to remove any impurities. This makes the water pure enough for use in pharmaceutical production, medical equipment sterilization, and other purposes where purity is important.
