Description

Cyclo[Arg-Gly-Asp-D-Phe-Lys(dPEG®4)] is a peptide macrocycle that is radiolabeled with the positron emitting isotope 18F. It is a tumor imaging agent that can be used to detect cancer in vivo. Cyclo[Arg-Gly-Asp-D-Phe-Lys(dPEG®4)] has been shown to bind to the integrin receptor, which is expressed on many types of cancer cells and helps them attach to other cells in the body. This peptide has also been shown to have antiangiogenic activity and inhibit tumor growth in mice.
