• Description: 1-Methyl-1H-pyrazole-4-carboxamide is a potent and selective activator of constitutive androstane receptor (CAR) which is involved in the regulation of gene transcription. 1-Methyl-1H-pyrazole-4-carboxamide has been shown to be cytotoxic, inducing apoptosis and inhibiting cancer cell proliferation in vitro. 1-Methyl-1H-pyrazole-4-carboxamide also induces the expression of hormone receptors such as the androgen receptor, estrogen receptor, progesterone receptor, glucocorticoid receptor, mineralocorticoid receptor, and peroxisome proliferator activated receptor (PPAR).
