LDH-IN-1 is a synthetic peptide that is an ion channel inhibitor. It has been shown to inhibit the activity of voltage-gated sodium and calcium channels, as well as potassium channels. LDH-IN-1 has also been shown to bind to and inhibit the function of GluR6, which is a glutamate receptor. LDH-IN-1 can be used as a research tool for studying protein interactions and for understanding receptor pharmacology. This peptide also acts as an activator or inhibitor of cell biology.
