Informations sur le produit
2-[(6-Chloropyrazin-2-yl)oxy]acetic acid trifluoroacetic acid is a small molecule drug that inhibits the synthesis of cellulose, which is an important structural component of plant cell walls. It binds to crystalline cellulose and prevents formation of the disulfide bond between two polymeric chains. This leads to the disruption of the structural integrity of the plant cell wall and causes lysis. The inhibition of cellulose synthesis by 2-[(6-chloropyrazin-2-yl)oxy]acetic acid trifluoroacetic acid has been shown to be effective in treating bowel disease in mice.
